Six days after the collision, she was pronounced dead at University Medical Center. The Clark County coroner’s office confirmed the heartbreaking news on Tuesday.
Details of the Accident
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, their fatal detail unit was informed of Alana’s passing on Monday. The department released a statement stating that the cause of her death was accidental blunt force trauma, as determined by the coroner’s office investigation. At the time of the accident, Alana was driving a 2016 Nissan Sentra, heading westbound on Windmill. Simultaneously, a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee ran a red light at the intersection of Windmill and Jones, resulting in a collision with the left side of Alana’s Nissan. The collisions involving multiple vehicles occurred simultaneously, causing further damage.
