In a devastating turn of events, 14-year-old River Ludemann of Fort Pierre, SD, has lost his life in a tragic accident near Stanley County. The incident took place on Saturday night, around 9:30 p.m., in an off-road vehicle area along Highway 1806, located south of the Oahe Dam.
River Ludemann Cause Of Death
According to a news release, the accident involved a one-vehicle collision in which River was traveling in a Jeep. Limited information is currently available as authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following the accident, River was promptly transported to Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre by the AMR Ambulance Service. Tragically, despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away, as confirmed by a Stanley County Deputy Sheriff.
