Kara Lemons, a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, was born on December 11, 2003. She graduated with honors from Barbe High School in 2022 and was a student at McNeese State University, where she proudly belonged to the Chi Omega Sorority. Kara had dreams of owning her own salon and was planning to apply to Cosmetology school. She worked as a server at the pools of L’Auberge Casino Resort, always embracing life with her radiant smile and welcoming heart.

Funeral Arrangements and Obituary Details
A Mass of Christian burial to honor Kara Lemons’ life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Father Paul Jussen will officiate the service, followed by interment at Highland Memory Gardens under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin with a rosary service at 10:00 AM on Wednesday and continue until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
