A Man of Family and Football

Chris Derrico was a devoted family man, finding joy in the time spent with his loved ones. His daughter and son-in-law, Paige DiStephano and Brandon Cruz, were his pride and joy. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Ariyanna, Gabriella, Adrian, and Dominic, creating lasting bonds and treasured memories with each of them. Chris’s love for family extended beyond his immediate circle, with two sisters, Rosemary Palmieri and Penelope Gerb, as well as numerous cousins and lifelong friends who held a special place in his heart.

In addition to his love for family, Chris was a passionate supporter of the Miami Dolphins. His unwavering loyalty to the team showcased his dedication and enthusiasm for the game of football. He enjoyed sharing this passion with others and could always be found cheering on his beloved team.

A Life of Service and Dedication

Chris’s commitment to serving others extended beyond his personal life. He honorably served his country in the armed forces, exemplifying bravery and dedication during his time of service. Following his military career, he found professional fulfillment as a Technician at Communications Test Design, Inc. (CTDI). His dedication to his work was evident, and he was highly regarded for his expertise and professionalism.

A Fond Farewell and Celebration of Life

To honor Chris Derrico’s memory and celebrate his life, a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 4:30 pm at the D’Errico Funeral Chapel, located in the Buklad Merlino Facility on 30 Yardville Allentown Road in Hamilton, New Jersey. Prior to the service, visitation will take place from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, providing an opportunity for family, friends, and the community to pay their respects and share their fond memories of Chris.

As the community gathers to bid farewell to a beloved member, it is a time to reflect on the impact Chris Derrico had on those around him. His warm smile, kind-hearted nature, and genuine character touched the lives of many.
