The victim of the shooting was immediately taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for his injuries. Fortunately, no other employees were harmed during the incident. Investigators believe that the shooting resulted from a dispute between the two involved individuals, with indications of a prior relationship.

Search for Missing Endangered Person

In connection to the shooting, the police department has confirmed that they are searching for a 38-year-old woman named Elecia Nicole Bing. Bing, an employee at Tropicana Bradenton and a co-worker of both the victim and the suspect, was last seen leaving the facility with Bell. Authorities are considering her a missing endangered person and have expressed concerns for her safety.

Elecia Nicole Bing is described as approximately 5’10” tall, weighing around 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a yellow safety shirt and blue jeans. Meanwhile, the suspect, Demetrius Tyrone Bell, has a history of criminal charges, including domestic violence, drug possession, and armed robbery. Being a convicted felon, Bell should not have been in possession of a firearm.
